DARYL SHERMAN
This distinctive NYC jazz singer-pianist has been a longtime favourite on both shores as an enchanting performer and recording artist. From the Algonquin, Waldorf Astoria to Jazz At Lincoln Center, Daryl Sherman is also no stranger to London venues and her UK fans look forward to her annual 'nooks and crannies' tours.
Renowned for digging deeper into the archives than most of her peers, she has a unique way of blending her expressive voice and piano into a conversation that weaves a story from each song. This time Daryl (with fine support from bassist Andrew Cleyndert) will lend her magic to a surprising variety of hits popular on both shores, immortalized by Frank Sinatra, Nat Cole and Billie Holiday - all written by the unknown Carl Sigman.
Venue : The Pheasantry (Chelsea), London Date : 19th - 20th April 2018 Show Time : 8:30 pm
